Five arrested over drugs offences in Harlow

FIVE people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences by officers from Operation Raptor.

The four men and a woman were arrested after officers executed a warrant a property at Wissants, Harlow just after 5pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.

Drugs and money were seized.

A 44-year-old man from Harlow was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of class B or C drugs.

A 29-year-old woman from Harlow, a 23-year-old man of no fixed address, an 18-year-old man of no fixed address and a 22-year-old man from Potters Bar, Hertfordshire were all arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession with intent to supply drugs other than class A.

All five of those arrested have been released on bail pending further investigation until October 24, 2016.

Operation Raptor teams have been created in the North, South and West Local Policing Areas to disrupt and dismantle gangs who travel to Essex to deal drugs and cause violence.
