HARLOW Running Club member Afewerk Rossom was first finisher out of 162
finishers at the Harlow parkrun 5K in a time of 18min 12sec. He was followed
home by Amaniel Tesfay 2nd in 19.17, Terry Ridge 9th in 21.02, Darren Tiley 15th
in 22.11, Andy Bradley 20th in 22.28, John Bull 26th in 23.09, Graham Saville
33rd in 23.59, Peter Ayling 37th in 24.34, Louise Cootes 64th in 27.24, Jeff
Mace 72nd in 27.56, Robin Lozeau 74th in 28.04, Carmen Byfield 78th in 28.22,
Pushpa Mistry 94th in 30.35 and Austin Nyamande 100th in 31.25.

Meanwhile at the Hackney Marshes parkrun 5K Alex Smith finished in 11th place
out of 167 finishers in a personal best time for the distance of 18min 49sec. He
was followed by Martyn Coulter 22nd in 20.21, Sharon Wright 26th in 20.59, Paul
Schroder 50th in 23.13, Wendy Spring 79th in 25.13 and Brenda Clayton 135th in
Vet 65 in 30.16.

At the Gunpowder parkrun 5K at Waltham Abbey Jamie Jephcott finished in 7th
place out of 108 finishers in 19min 38sec, son Daniel 10th in 20.36 and daughter
Laura 77th in 30.53.

At the Bognor Regis parkrun 5K Andy Terrell finished in 4th place out of 212
finishers in 19min 52sec.

At the Hatfield Forest parkrun 5K Terry Pike finished in 84th place out of 201
finishers in 27min 27sec.

At the Torrens parkrun 5K in South Australia Owen Haigh finished in 12th place
out of 246 finishers in 20min 00sec.

At the Great Notley parkrun 5K at Braintree Jason Haigh finished in 7th place
out of 193 finishers in 20min 16sec and Celia Haigh was 47th in 25.17.

At the Aldenham parkrun 5K at Elstree Andy Kinney finished in 41st place out of
67 finishers in 31min 15sec.

At the multi-terrain Salisbury 54321 Marathon Sean Flynn finished in 70th place
out of 290 finishers in a commendable 4hrs 37min 9sec.

At the La Marinade 10k in the French Pyrenees Peter Mills finished in 449th
place out of 673 finishers in 58min 43sec.

A late result from last week, at the Orion Forest 5 Mile race in Epping Forest
Sean Flynn finished in 95th place out of 282 finishers in 38min 45sec. He was
followed by Martin McColgan 146th in 42.35, Janice Page 188th in 46.06, David
Page 189th in 46.18 and Louise Cootes 195th in 46.48.
