MARK Hall and Netteswell Community Association is celebrating purchase of Moot House from Essex County Council.

The deal enables the association to secure grants to maintain the Grade II-listed building which is a wedding and function venue, the home to Moot House Players theatre group and many other organisations.

County Hall announced last year that community weddings could now be completed in the venue which were formerly completed in the Harlow Registry Office.
