THE recent warm weather has provided the perfect excuse for the children at Kiddi Caru’s Harlow day nursery to enjoy splashing around and creating lots of water games in the nursery’s garden.

They put the construction and science outdoor areas to good use, filling their builder trays with water and playing with measuring syringes. They also filled balloons and water sprayers and lured the nursery’s manager, Louise Farrow, outside where they soaked her with them!

Louise said: “The weather’s been fantastic so the staff thought it would be the perfect opportunity to let the children make up their own water games to cool down. We all had great fun and the children thought it was especially funny when I got the hose out to spray them back after they drenched me! The garden has been specially designed for all year round use and it’s always amazing to see how the children change how they use the equipment out there depending on the weather and time of year – there really is no limit to their creativity.”
