The Jive Aces at Harlow Playhouse
Lifestyle / Tue 13th Sep 2016 pm30 12:51pm
THIS Saturday the 17th, The Jive Aces are set to play their lively show at the Harlow Playhouse for the fifth time.
You probably know the Sussex-based swing band for reaching the semi finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012, having come a long way from busking in Romford during the 1980s. You can expect to hear Ian Clarkson, Ken Smith, Vince Hurley, Peter Howell, John Fordham and Alex Douglas play songs from their newest album, “King of the Swingers”.
They are no strangers to big names, having played for the queen and worked with the likes of John Travolta, Chuck Berry, Status Quo, Van Morrison and more! The Jive Aces also play a number of shows as part of the “Say No To Drugs, Say Yes To Life” campaign.
