London drug dealer jailed after bust in Harlow

Officers found six wraps of class A drugs in his coat pocket as well a kitchen knife with a nine inch blade tucked into his waist band.

The 19-year-old from no fixed address in London was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of a knife and taken into custody where he was strip searched.

During the search officers found Zola to be hiding a plastic bag containing a further 78 wraps of class A drugs in his bottom.

All 84 wraps were tested. Forty-nine were found to be heroin and 35 were found to be crack cocaine.

Whilst in custody officers also discovered Zola had given a false name upon arrest.

Zola was charged with possession with intent to supply heroin, possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession of a bladed article and obstructing a police constable in the execution of their duty.

He pleaded guilty to all of the offences and was sentenced to a total of three years’ imprisonment at Chelmsford Crown Court on September 12, 2016.

Zola received three years’ imprisonment for possession with intent to supply heroin, three years to run concurrently for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, 12 months’ imprisonment to run concurrently for possession of a bladed article and one month to run concurrently for obstructing a constable in the execution of their duty.
