KIDDI Caru’s Harlow day nursery is opening its doors to existing and prospective parents on Saturday 1st October from 10.30 until 1.00pm, inviting them to experience the nursery’s varied activities for babies and toddlers first hand.
While it is usually the children who get to have all the fun, parents are being invited in to see what happens behind the scenes at the nursery on a normal day and join in, and there are plenty of activities for them to choose from.
As well as Playdough, cooking and floor-printing, the nursery’s garden will be set up with all manner of activities and its sensory cabin will also be open. Older children will be able to explore the nursery’s new pre-school layout and resources, including a set of brand new large wooden construction blocks.
In addition, parents will be able to sample tasting pots of Kiddi Caru’s special weaning menu, so they can test the texture and tastes of the foods at each weaning stage.
Louise Farrow, Nursery Manager, said: “Our door is always open to parents but we like to have special days throughout the year when they can come in and get a real feel for what their child does day to day here. Our Experience Days give parents an insight into our typical day so that they can then discuss different activities with their child at home and feel more included.”
