HARLOW’S Labour councillors were celebrating Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn winning the Labour leadership contest against Owen Smith.
Mr Corbyn gained just under 63% of the vote.
Jeremy Corbyn: 313,209 – 61.89%
Owen Smith: 193,229 – 38.20%
Netteswell council, Waida Forman was at the meeting in Liverpool and said: “A big cheer when the result was announced. Jeremy Corbyn asked for members and PLPs to start working together.
“Labour Party is the party for the people and we need a Labour Government in the next election to help all of us not just a few.
“Our work begins now and next week we will start a campaign on Education for All”.
.......And the rest of us celebrate the end of the Labour party.
This is obviously the result Theresa may was hoping for, and seals the end of the Labour party.
Back aboard dear old Alan Jones' good ship Labour - holed below the waterline, bobbing on the tide, rudderless, leaderless and probably going down and taking on water!
