THE BERECROFT Residents Association received the Queens Award for their community work.

The award was the culmination of close to twenty years work by Zulqar Cheema and his team off Commonside Road.

The Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, John Petre presented the award.

The chair of Harlow Council, cllr Edna Stevens, Harlow MP, Robert Halfon and many other dignitaries, residents and friends gathered at the community house to celebrate a considerable achievement.
