A MAN has been charged in connection with an incident in Harlow, during which a man was assaulted.

The 30-year-old victim was assaulted several times near garages in the Hornbeams and Rivermill area between 9pm and 10pm on Tuesday, July 19. He suffered a broken hand and bruises and cuts.

Amara Frank Kposowa, 25, a restaurateur, of Thorpe Road, London, was charged with possession of class A drugs, GBH, and false imprisonment.

He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Friday September 30 and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on October 28 at Chelmsford Crown Court.
