ESSEX Police are investigating reports of an assault in Broadley Road, Harlow shortly after 6.30pm on Wednesday, March 22.

A 48-year-old man has been assaulted by a group of youths, while playing football with his sons.

He has suffered minor injuries to his head.

The attack is being treated as a hate related incident.
