Over ninety drivers caught out on police operation in Harlow

92 drivers were caught speeding during a roads safety operation in Harlow.
Officers were joined by members of the Safer Essex Roads Partnership and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs for the operation at Junction 7 of the M11.
It took place on Friday, April 28.
92 drivers were dealt with for excess speed, 17 for not wearing a seat belt, 17 for using a mobile phone, two were found to have no insurance, whilst two were dealt with for careless driving and four vehicles were found to have non-conforming number plates.
Officers also detected 12 overweight vehicles with fines totally £3,100.
Six other drivers were also dealt with for other offences.
