Summer of events at Parndon Mill

First: the opening of our next exhibition VISIT HARLOW which celebrates Harlow’s 70th birthday, showing paintings, drawings, sculpture and prints of many features of the town. This exhibition will be rich and varied and it is hoped that it will encourage its visitors to look at our town in a different light and appreciate some of the diversity it has to offer. We are sure that you will enjoy it and find it interesting. The private View is on Sunday 2nd July 2 – 4. Do come and meet the artists.

Second: OPEN STUDIOS: This year on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July from 10 – 5 over 20 studios present an insight into the creative process and offer opportunities to “have a go” and, new this year, will be an Art Play Tent where children of all ages can create a masterpiece! More details are on the attachment.

Third: A taster evening for a beginners course in PHOTOGRAPHY, taught in a non-technical way for those who want to take better pictures for pleasure or take photography further. It will be held in the Project Space on Wednesday 26th July 7.30 – 9.30.

Fourth:Parndon Summer 70 SUMMER SCHOOL: Parndon Mill artists offer a whole week of workshops and classes in art and craftwork 14th – 21st August. More information about this is on our website http://www.parndonmill.co.uk/events/summer-school and we will remind you about it nearer the time.
