Lorry fire blocks M11 near Harlow

Severe delays continue in the aftermath of the lorry fire.
Traffic tail backs of twenty miles or more from Harlow back beyond A11 turn-off.
One lane still closed and that is causing problems
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a lorry on fire on the M11, southbound carriageway between junction 8 and 7.
The road was temporarily shut so firefighters could deal with the fire safely.
The lorry’s cab has been completely destroyed. The fire also spread to the trailer which contained wood chippings and sand.
The fire was exitnguished at 2:45pm.
