Harvey Halloween

THE Harvey Centre in Harlow is set to host a day of FREE, VERY spooky fun from 11am – 4pm on Saturday 28th October.

The event will see the centre transformed as a host of spooktacular characters take to the malls to entertain guests – young and old, throughout the day.

The activity is sure to keep the whole family amused as entertainment includes a visit from a wizard and his fire breathing baby dragon, as well as professor Goosebump and his body parts game. The body parts game is based on the family favourite ‘Operation’, but on a giant scale.

A stilt walking Dracula will swoop in to the centre too – making an exception to his generally nocturnal lifestyle, while a wise wizard with his wickedly long beard and bouncy, bubbly stilt walking pumpkins will meet and greet guests.

Children can also conjure up their most creative pumpkin designs at the pumpkin carving workshop while the grown-ups can pay a visit to the fortune teller, who will take a peek through the curious mists of time in her crystal ball, or by reading your Tarots.

In addition, visitors can marvel at the mysterious art of balloon modelling and enjoy a haunting transformation by the visiting face painting crew.

Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “Halloween is fast becoming a big celebration across the UK, and we’re really excited to be hosting an event that appeals to adults and children alike. It’s the first time we’ve put on such an event and we hope our guests enjoy all of the spooktacular attractions on offer!”
