PROPERTY investor Tritax Big Box REIT has agreed to buy a building at Harlow Logistics Hub for more than £44m reports Insider Media.

The facility on Edinburgh Way is let to logistics business Wincanton Holdings and Industrial Tool Services, a supplier of professional power tools.

It was constructed in 2008 and has a total gross internal area of more than 390,000 sq ft.

Colin Godfrey, partner at Tritax, said: “We are very pleased to have acquired this modern facility in a key South East distribution location.

“The South East has a high demand from occupiers requiring close access to London, but limited supply due to competition from high value alternative land uses. The investment further diversifies our portfolio tenant mix and also provides opportunity for rental growth and capital value enhancement from either lease renewal or re-letting.”
