Robert Halfon MP writes to PM to protect wages of hardworking Harlow Sainsbury’s workers

ROBERT Halfon has signed a joint letter to the Prime Minister following the news that Sainsbury’s staff contracts will be changing.

The company is forcing new contracts on all staff that will see 10% of their most longstanding and loyal employees lose up to £3,000 per year under the guise of ‘an increase in basic pay’.

Robert Halfon said: “I will continue to push against this change to make sure that hardworking Sainsbury’s employees in Harlow get a fair wage for the hours they put in.”

No need to worry, Bob's on the job! Oh wait though, Lord Sainsbury is a massive Tory donor, former chairman of the group but presumably having a great deal of shares in the supermarket https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.ft.com/content/035d87d4-6ac3-11e6-ae5b-a7cc5dd5a28c As soon as Bob hears that he'll be off the job quicker than you can say "East India Club tonight, darling? It's on the taxpayer!!" Halfon is all talk, as is evidenced by the strange dropping of his fair fuel campaign now that petrol is going up again. Like an opportunist Tory, he'll jump on the bandwagon when times are good but wash his hands of it when things take a turn. Ask him an awkward question on Twitter and he'll block you. This is not a man interested in debate, or a difference of opinion.
