THE Harvey Centre enjoyed a spectacular night at this year’s Harlow Town Centre Awards, with five retailers at the centre walking away with key awards. The awards are particularly special because they are voted for by the public. Primark walked away with arguably the most important award of the night – Retailer of The Year and Couzens Bakery scooped an incredible two awards. Harlow Citizens Advice Bureau, The Perfume Shop and Burger Priest also had a very successful night.

The awards were established to recognise individuals and teams that make the town centre what it is and to celebrate the diversity of businesses and services that are available in Harlow. There were fourteen categories judged, covering a range of services and activities that take place in the town centre.

Tenants within The Harvey Centre that walked away with awards include:

· Retailer of the Year – Primark

· Best Environmentally Friendly Business or Organisation – Couzens Bakery

· Customer Service of the Year – Couzens Bakery

· Health, Beauty and Well-Being Businesses of The Year – The Perfume Shop

· Volunteer of the Year – Harlow Citizens Advice Bureau
· Manager of the Year (second place) – James Harding, Burger Priest

The Harvey Centre was also a proud sponsor of the Community & Voluntary Based Project of the Year, which was awarded to Harlow Library.

Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre said, “We are really proud of all of our tenants that won on the night – they are all hugely deserving and work really hard to deliver the best possible service they can to the people of Harlow. It’s also great to receive this type of recognition and the fact these awards are judged by the general public is very important to us and lets us know our shoppers appreciate what we are offering.”
