AN AIR ambulance was called to the Whitewaits part of Harlow on Thursday morning.

A spokesperson said: “We were called to Whitewaits at 7.09am, and dispatched several resources including the air ambulance.

“The elderly patient had had difficulties in breathing and other complications, and after assessment was treated to help stabilise his condition.

“He was taken to hospital by land ambulance, with the air ambulance crew on board.
