KIDDI Caru’s Harlow day nursery hosted a day of fun on Saturday 7th July in aid of Home-Start UK, raising over £500.

There was a huge range of fun and games for families to enjoy, including face painting, traditional games, arts and crafts activities, mini trampolines courtesy of ((bounce)) and a mobile paint-your-own ceramic studio from Painted Peppermint. There was also a barbecue for visitors and ice cream stall to help them stay cool.

Home-Start helps parents all over the UK to build better lives for their children. The organisation has volunteers based at nearly 300 projects nationwide, who provide support and friendship to more than 32,000 families every year.  The money that Kiddi Caru has raised as a company since 2014 has enabled Home-Start to train more volunteers and therefore help more families in need.

Louise Farrow, Nursery Manager, said: “We all had a fantastic time at our fun day and it was lovely to see so many families enjoying themselves. A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped us raise so much money for Home-Start UK.”
