Demonstration expected over Bushey Croft development

Dear Editor,
THERE was a public exhibition held in respect of this site and it was already clear that almost all the residents who made a comment were against the proposals.
A planning application was subsequently made, with very little change made to the original proposal.
In response, the Council have had two petitions sent to it containing 170 names objecting to the proposal and letters from 17 residents, 16 of which are objecting.
The loss of this play space marks an important point in Harlow’s history, the first of many such spaces, designed as part of Harlow’s heritage, which Harlow Council, and in particular the Labour Party, want to see destroyed for good.
The Harlow Alliance Party have been campaigning on this issue since it was formed in January. We intend to hold a demonstration against these proposals at 7.00pm at the Civic Offices on the 22 August.
Come and join us!
Further information is on our website harlowallianceparty.org.uk.
If you are on facebook please let your friends know, even if they do not live near this site, because other sites like at Fennells, Jocelyns, Rundells, Deer Park, Pollard Hatch and St Andrews Meadow will follow in due course.
