OLD Harlow councillor, Joel Charles has expressed his concerns over a bid to build another 144 homes on Gilden Way.
On Sunday, YH revealed that an application had appeared on the Harlow Council planning portal.
This appeared to catch a large number of people by surprise.
We went down to Gilden Way to speak to cllr Charles to discuss his concerns.
Anyone who seriously believes that the current build would be the only build on this site is woefully naive. Now that the developers have a foothold they will try and build on every square inch. Say goodbye to your views of the countryside and say hello to your new neighbours.
Capitalism 101 Joel. Would you be happy if Harlow Council Development Management Committee refuse and your government uphold the developers application on appeal? How would this sit with you Joel?
BH, yet again, crass comment. Based on "IF".
Precisely what happened with the previous application, Micky. Cross-party resistance, refusal of permission, permission granted on appeal ... (Secretary of State I think was the decision maker at the time ... I could be mistaken)
