Harlow MP: “We have to deal with social justice”

News / Sat 29th Sep 2018 pm30 02:24pm

THE Conservative Party Conference has yet to begin but Harlow MP Robert Halfon has been busy on national radio and television as he sets out how he feels the government should be addressing the problems that affect the British people.

Mr Halfon said: “We have to recognise the anxieties of the British people..who are struggling, who don’t live in adequate accommodation.

“The government has done many good things but they have to recognise the anxieties.

“This should not be a conference on Brexit but one on social justice. If we don’t, we will be in trouble.

Halfon has admitted that Corbyn's policies are popular.

Like the last election propaganda, remember, when he was going to cancel any student debt, and offer free university places. Free travel too ! Wise up people, Labour breed poverty.

Only popular because they offer something for nothing when with student loans you don't have to pay anything until you earn more than the threshold currently at £27k and then it is only £15 a month.

Bit rich coming from our MP. It is his Government that has poured billions of pounds supporting the construction of so called 'affordable homes'. Whilst this has helped many people buy a home, evidence shows that this just pushes up the prices of new homes so that in real terms the price of an 'affordable home' is what the price of a home on the open market would have been. The crisis in the housing sector will only be resolved when the financial straight jacket is taken off Councils, who are the only ones who can really provide homes (at Council rent levels) to those at the bottom of the housing ladder and are the ones most in need. Just look at the booming profits being made by house builders and the £100 million (yes £100 million!) salary paid to the boss of Persimmons for example

Immigration ran riot under the Bliar regime, now, as usual, another party is trying to sort out the mess that his idealistic dreams have caused. "If we allow this mass immigration, these people will vote Labour in future". So, all is compromised by the actions of the Loony Left. Birth rates amongst immigrants over the last thirty years have been astronomical. And, let's not forget our own teen-age phenomenon, have kids, get housed. The country that I grew up in is gone, or, going, down the pan.
