IT is not so happy radio as Phoenix Live in Harlow has suddenly closed its doors.
Presenters were told at the weekend that the radio station, based in the Westgate part of the town centre would come off the air at midnight.
Phoenix Live is one of the many organisations under the umbrella of the Phoenix Resource Centre
YH spoke to one of the trustees of Phoenix Resource Centre, Andy Richardson.
Mr Richardson said: “We had a number of key members of staff depart plus we just did not have enough volunteers to keep it going.
“However, this phoenix may rise from the flames one day. We continue to have a number of exciting projects planned so watch this space.”
