Harlow SOUP is hosting its fourth event at Pemberley Academy in Harlow on Thursday 29th November and is seeking submissions from new and exciting Harlow projects.
The community-led Harlow SOUP is seeking new submissions for local projects that are looking for funding and support.
Prospective projects will need to write a short proposal explaining how they would use the funding and what their project is, then submit their idea through the Harlow SOUP website, www.harlowsoup.co.uk.
Four projects will be selected and each will get four minutes to pitch their project idea at the event, and answer four questions from the audience. Attendees will then vote for their favourite project while enjoying live music, meeting other community diners and eating some delicious homemade soup.
The event is “pay what you feel” and all of the money raised from entrance on the door goes directly to the winning project at the end of the night.
Previous winners have included local homelessness charity Streets 2 Homes, Aspire Support Learn (ASL) and Rock School, who received hundreds of pounds each towards their respective projects.
