WEDNESDAY was the day the teddy bears had their picnic, when the children and staff at the Kiddi Caru day nursery in Harlow celebrated Bring Your Teddy Bear To School Day (10th October).

Everyone brought their favourite teddies in from home and introduced them to their friends. The nursery’s chef prepared a special picnic tea, so they could have their afternoon tea with their beloved teddy bears. Throughout the day the children also baked teddy bear biscuits, played pin the tail on the bear and went on a bear hunt around the nursery’s garden.

Louise Farrow, Nursery Manager, said: “The children all have their favourite cuddly toys and they loved being able to bring them to nursery for the day. They had a lovely time at the picnic and I think their teddies enjoyed it too!”
