Cancellations to services between Roydon and Broxbourne

Due to a fallen tree damaging the overhead electric wires between Roydon and Broxbourne all lines are blocked.

Impact

Train services running through these stations have been cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or suspended between Broxbourne and Bishops Stortford.
Disruption is expected until 21:00 12/10.

A fallen tree has been reported touching the overhead electric wires between Roydon and Broxbourne on the Liverpool Street bound line.

Greater Anglia and Stansted Express services between Liverpool Street / Stratford and Hertford East, Bishop’s Stortford, Stansted Airport, Cambridge and Kings Lynn are unable to run between Bishop’s Stortford and Broxbourne in both directions until the tree is attended to by Network Rail Staff.

A rail service is running between Liverpool Street and Hertford East via Broxbourne.

A rail shuttle is operating between Bishop’s Stortford and Stansted Airport.

Replacement buses have been ordered to run between Broxbourne and Bishop’s Stortford

London Underground: Circle, Hammersmith and City and Metropolitan lines between Liverpool Street and King’s Cross (journey time 10 minutes) to Connect with Great Northern / Thameslink services between King’s Cross / St Pancras (journey time 46 minutes to Cambridge) for connecting Greater Anglia and Cross Country train services between Cambridge and Stansted Airport (Journey time 35 minutes Cambridge to Stansted Airport)

CAMBRIDGE ELY KINGS LYNN Alternative routes are available as below:
