THE executive head of Cook Spinney primary school and his wife, who also taught at the school, have bid farewell to the school.

The news was published on the school’s e-newsletter which goes out to parents and guardians at the popular academy close to The Stow.

Stuart Pope had risen through the ranks to become the head of the school and then executive head of both Cooks Spinney and Roydon.

His wife Tracy was the year 6 teacher at Cooks Spinney.

The school said: “We would like to thank Mr Pope for the contributions he has made to the Trust.

“Mrs Pope has decided that the time is right for her to move on and we wish her good luck with any new challenges she takes on outside of BMAT.”
