Harlow Soup: Four more organisations to pitch their ideas

Lifestyle / Mon 12th Nov 2018 at 09:36am

FOUR Harlow-based community projects will be pitching their ideas to attendees at the Harlow SOUP event on Thursday 29 November.

Each of the four projects will get four minutes to pitch their project idea at the event, and answer four questions from the audience. Attendees will then vote for their favourite project.

The event is “pay what you feel” and all of the money raised from the door is awarded to the winning project at the end of the night.

Doors will open at 6.30pm on Thursday 29th November for a 7pm start, and the winner will be announced at 8.30pm. The evening will also include live music from Harlow Rock School, soups, bread, salads, cakes, tea/coffee and more.

Previous winners Harlow Rock School will not only be performing, but they will also be updating community diners on their project’s progress, detailing how they have spent the money so far.

This Harlow SOUP event will also feature a collection for Foodbank donations and a raffle.

Previous winners of Harlow SOUP have included local homelessness charity Streets 2 Homes, Aspire Support Learn (ASL) and Harlow Rock School, who have each received hundreds of pounds towards their respective projects.
