Epping Students fundraising for Cambodia.

A group of nine Year 11 students from Epping are fundraising to make a difference to the lives of people in Cambodia.

The St.Johns School students need to raise £3500 each towards the Camps International Trip between now and next summer.

The 28 day excursion will see the teenagers build shelters, help give local villages access to clean running water, teach English and help in the local community.

Their current fundraising ideas include a raffle (with a signed Tottenham Hotspur as one of its prizes), a Christmas Quiz and a non uniform day.

Student Georgia Davis said: “I have always wanted to do this. We are going to make a real difference. We are imagining how good we will feel about ourselves coming back on that plane.”
