News / Wed 21st Nov 2018 pm30 06:10pm

ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident involving two cars in Harlow.

A woman was driving a green Fiat 500 along Third Avenue towards the roundabout at the junction with South Gate at about 2.15pm on Friday, November 16.

A red Ford Fiesta joined the road at the roundabout and was reported to have followed the Fiat and been driven in a dangerous manner along Velizy Avenue and Fourth Avenue.

A 19-year-old man from Harlow was arrested the following day on suspicion of dangerous driving, sending a malicious communication and a public order offence.

He was released on bail until December 13 while our enquiries continue.

Investigating officer PC Paul Marks said: “There would have been a number of the vehicles in the area at the time and I would like to speak to anyone who saw the two cars being driven in Harlow between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Friday or was in the area during those times and has dash cam footage.”
