HARLOW MP Robert Halfon has defended his participation in a recent photo call with the Harlow Foodbank.

Conservative MPs across the country were the subject of severe criticism from some quarters on social media from what appeared to be a co-ordinated campaign across the country.

Mr Halfon was photographed with the Harlow Foodbank collection at Tescos, Church Langley last weekend.

As you may see from below, Mr Halfon defended his decision to accept an invitation.
