NEW winter target figures for Princess Alexandra Hospital reveal that pressures on the Harlow hospital are as intensive as ever.
The statistics also show that the hospital was one of ten trusts in England and Wales that had over 99% bed occupancy rates.
Only 72% of patients going to the A and E Department are seen within four hours. The average is 87.6 and the target is 95%. PAH ranks at number 125 out of 131 in England and Wales.

Although a new hospital is the ultimate answer, we also need walk in clinics for minor injuries to ease the pressure on A&E, better GP surgeries in Harlow as nobody can get in within 6 weeks and better social care...although the latter is a completely different budget pot to the other two
