SOUNDS Right Phonics Classes for Kids were delighted to take part in Children’s Activities Week from 13th-17th May’19 to help raise money for Caudwell Children. This is a charity that supports children with autism and their families.
Sounds Right Phonics Harlow got involved with children dressing up as superheroes, butterflies, fairies and bees to come along to their classes, as the theme of the week was ‘Watch me Fly’.
They held a raffle in each class with a basket of children’s goodies for the lucky winner and took part in a sponsored sing along with their cheeky class mascot Robot Reg!
The total amount raised over just three classes is still to be finalised but the total from the raffle alone looks set to be just over £100 which is a great achievement.
Their class teacher Isobel said “It was a really fun week and it was so nice to see everyone come together as a communityl to raise money for a fantastic cause. The children’s costumes added a little bit of extra sparkle to the sessions and the parents were extremely supportive and generous.”
