Freshwater students embrace Dress for Work Day

DOCTORS, nurses, police officers, gymnasts and singers all attended school for a unique day.

Pupils at Freshwaters Primary Academy, in Harlow, wore outfits representing the career they are keen to go into on Dress for Work Day.

Headteacher Jackie Diggle said: “The playground was a sea of children, all inspired by different careers and role models. The children discussed what they wanted to be when they grow up and why they had chosen their particular career.

“We want children to think about learning as not just being about school, but about it being the start of a journey to take them on to their future.”
