CHILDREN donned science lab coats to indulge in the topic for a week.
Little Parndon Primary Academy, in Harlow, devoted a week to science with a theme of journeys to tie in with this year’s British Science Week.
Pupils took part in various activities and there was a competition for the best designed lab coat.
Key Stage 1 enjoyed a Dragons Den-approved science show by Sublime Science, while Key Stage 2 were entertained by Immersive Experience with a space show within a five-metre dome.
Aimee Mappley, Year 2 class teacher and science lead, said: “We love celebrating Science Week every year as it promotes a love for science and helps children to recognise we can all be scientists.
“The aim for Science Week was to help us to understand the importance of science and how science shapes our lives.”
