PUPILS at Roydon Primary Academy, in Roydon, were set the task of creating a rewards system which was easy to understand and rewarded children’s efforts and achievements.
After speaking with the whole school, the school council came up with a new reward system along with the rewards children could strive to win.
The group presented their proposition to the whole school though a presentation and informed parents via the school’s weekly newsletter.
Headteacher Michael Clark said: “We are incredibly proud of the school council who have put a lot of time and effort into this. They have spoken with the whole school and come up with a system that works for us. They have shown some brilliant leadership skills at such a young age.”
