Harlow man faces trial over serious assaults on a woman and several other charges

A MAN has been charged with a series of assaults upon a woman as well as charges of harassment and criminal damage.

Martin Burton, aged 34, of Tunnmeade, Harlow has been charged with the following:

On 06/10/2019 at Harlow assaulted a female by beating her.

On 22/11/2019 at Harlow assaulted a female by beating her.

Between 19/10/2019 and 22/11/2019 at Harlow pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a female and which you knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of her in that sent messages called her and entered her property twice.

On 06/10/2019 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged a chair to the value of unknown belonging to a female intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

On 06/10/2019 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged a Iphone to the value of unknown belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

On 06/08/2019 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged a TV to the value of unknown belonging to a female intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

On 22/11/2019 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged FRONT DOOR to the value of £900 belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

Burton has been remanded in custody until December 9th at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.

He has pleaded not guilty.
