Police attend disturbance at Melins Restaurant in Harlow Town Centre

ONE MAN is in hospital and another is in custody after a disturbance at a Harlow restaurant.

A police spokesperson said: “We responded to a disturbance at Melins Restaurant in The Rows, Harlow, after being called shortly after 11.50pm on Saturday 1 February.

A 34-year-old man was taken to hospital with cuts to his face.

A 29-year-old man from Chingford was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody for questioning.

Anyone who saw what happened and has yet to speak to officers is asked to call Harlow CID on 101 quoting reference 42/17742/20.
