HARLOW Running Club member Martin Westley completed the Great Bentley Half Marathon on Sunday morning, in 21st place out of 692 finishers, in an excellent PB time of 1hr 17min 15sec.

Meanwhile at the Watford Half Marathon Danny McCree finished in 138th place out of 1365 finishers in 1.28.22, Laura Prime was 695th in 1.52.37, Lex Ellington 701st in 1.52.45, Sean Flynn 705th in 1.52.24, Nick Goff 828th in 1.57.10, Hazel Kurz 1036th in 2.09.26 and David Nicholas 1304th in 2.52.51 in his debut at the distance.

At the Begbury Forest 10 Mile race in Kent, using the undulating forest paths and trails in and around Bedgebury National Forest, Andy Kinney finished in 357th place out of 380 finishers in 2.01.26.

At the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10k Andy Kitson finished in 20th place out of 433 finishers in a superb 39.48. He was followed home by Paul Schroder in 41st place in 43.10, James Dowsett 43rd in 43.18, Ben Usher 61st 44.40, Terri Wiley 62nd in 44.41, Gail Nicholls 134th and 1st Female Vet 50 in 51.01, Jason Pite 349th in 1.02.46(PB), Liz Roberts 376th in 1.06.15 and Karen Kitson 421st in 1.22.03(PB).

On Saturday morning many runners completed various parkruns including 61 at Hatlow parkrun.
