ROADWORKS ON Edinburgh Way in Harlow are set to continue into July.

Essex Highways issued the update on their website.

The statement says:

TO support work continuing on A414 Edinburgh Way, the current westbound closure is expected to remain in place until 9 June 2020. This allows Morgan Sindall more daytime working to complete activities which cannot safely be carried out without a lane closure.

An appropriate diversion is in place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (see Document Section below) to support this temporary closure. Travel eastbound on Edinburgh Way is not affected by the westbound closure.

These arrangements may be subject to change at short notice, if current advice relating to the virus changes. Please continue to check our site signage and webpage for the latest information available.

The contractors are working towards a significant reduction in eastbound traffic management from early July, with main works due for completion 15 July 2020. Some minor works are expected to continue throughout July following the road safety audit and any remedial work required.
