Teenage girl dies after emergency services called to Abbotsweld

Statement from Essex Police
We were called by the ambulance service at 6.55am today (Friday 17 July) to a teenage girl unwell at an address in Abbotsweld, Harlow.
She was taken to hospital but, sadly, later died.
Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
EMERGENCY services were called to Abbotsweld area of Harlow on Friday morning.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “I can confirm that EEAST responded to an emergency call shortly before 7am regarding an incident in Abbotsweld, Harlow.
We sent several ambulances and an air ambulance to the scene.
“The patient was taken by land ambulance to Princess Alexandra Hospital for further care and treatment”.”
When YH went to the scene, there were two police officers at the scene.
