Entertainment / Mon 17th Aug 2020 at 02:44pm

ACCURO (Care Services), has been awarded £5000 from The Openwork Foundation as part of their Covid-19 Emergency Fund. The Charity, based in Start Hill, Bishop’s Stortford provides clubs and services to Children, Young People and Adults with a disability in West Essex.

The Openwork Foundation, that supports disadvantaged people in the UK and abroad, continues its relationship with the charity following grants awarded in 2018 and 2019 to support Accuro’s Services for Children and Young People.

The grant provides a much-needed financial boost and will help the charity to continue supporting its members during this unprecedented time.

The Accuro team would like to thank supporter Andrew Smith, Financial Planner at Seneca Reid, Thremhall Park, for sponsoring the charity throughout the application process with the Openwork Foundation. A representative from the charity commented, “without Andrew, we would not have received these grants, we are truly grateful his support.”

Andrew said, “ I have been more than happy to help Accuro secure funds from The Openwork Foundation to help continue their great work and hope to maintain the relationship going forward. “
