Police appeal after hit and run leaves women in hospital

ESSEX Police is appealing for witnesses after a car made off after a two car collision in Harlow on Friday night.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called around 8.15pm on Friday 4 September with reports of a road traffic collision on Momples Road in Harlow.

It was reported that two vehicles had been in collision, one of which failed to stop following the incident.

The other driver, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Enquiries are ongoing.
