EMERGENCY services were called to the grounds of Canons Brook Golf Club on Saturday after reports that the body of a man had been found.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called just after 7.40am on Saturday 12 September after a man aged in his 40s was sadly found deceased at an address in Elizabeth Way.

“His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious”.
