THE Public Health Community Grant Fund offers funding of up to £3000 for health and wellbeing projects.
The grant is open to community and voluntary sector organisations, statutory agencies and private sector organisations that provide services to the residents of Harlow.
- benefit Harlow residents (any age group)
- improve resident’s health and wellbeing (you will need to demonstrate how you plan to acheive this)
- fit within the aims of one of the Health and Wellbeing Partnership Board’s 3 sub groups
There is no minimum funding amount you can apply for, but the maximum is £3000.
For an initial chat about your project before completing the application, please contact the sub group’s lead officer or you can contact the portfolio holder for health and wellbeing, Councillor Chris Vince
There are three application windows a year. The remaining windows for 2020 to 2021 are:
- 14 September to 28 September 2020
- 23 November to 7 December 2020
If you have a funding idea outside of these application dates, please speak to the lead officer for the relevant subgroup.
Your application is reviewed by the chair and lead officer of the relevant sub group. They will assess your application based on how well the project meets the priorities of the sub group, and how sustainable the project will be long term.
If your application is successful, you will need to provide a report on the agreed key performance indidicators halfway through the project.
You will also need to submit an evaluation at the end of the project – we will provide a template for this.
