Under 11’s Match Report: Frontier Youth: 4 v 2 Hitchin Town

WITH the sun shining over Church Langley playing fields and the smell of cut grass in the air, the U11 Pumas welcomed Hitchin town to Harlow.

They had played Hitchin twice already this season, scoring a total of 12 and conceding 5. With Hitchin having their full squad available unlike the previous two encounters as school district football have been suspended, they looked forward to a tough game.

The game was a competitive battle which saw the Pumas play some lovely football at times and also saw Harry score a goal of the season contender from outside the box.

With Giovanni scoring 2 and Alex scoring 1 and Frontier conceding 2 it was another game where the boys stood up and rose to the challenge.

There were strong performances all over the pitch, not only the boys already mentioned. Omer once again showing his dominance in goal, Charlie having another game Van Dijk would be proud of, Chase and Zac working their socks off up and down the pitch and Jayden, Medhaj and Kayden battling hard and showing their quality, but it was Keylan who got the MOM award for a dominant display at the back.

Another strong performance. Well done boys.
