STEWARDS Academy runner Danny Raymond comfortably won the Intermediate Boys 800 metres at the Essex Schools Track and Field Championships.

In very warm conditions at Chelmsford’s Melbourne Stadium, the Woodford Green AC athlete recorded a time of 1.57.60 secs.

Although this is an impressive the for a 16-year-old runner, this was quite comfortable for Danny ,who now look forward to the All England Champs and other top tier races over the rest of the season.
