ESSEX Police have sealed off an area near Second Avenue in Harlow.

The area in question is a path between Second Avenue (near Harlow Leisurezone ) and Greenhills.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called around 4.36am today, Saturday 31 July, with concerns for the welfare of a woman in Harlow.

“Officers attended and found a woman in distress along St Andrews Meadow.

“She is being supported by officers as we work to establish if an earlier incident has taken place”.

Police officers were still at scene at 1pm.
