Football: Changes to squad at Harlow Town FC

Football / Sun 9th Jan 2022 pm31 01:10pm

HAWKS boss Danny Chapman has made changes to his squad in the first week of 2022.

Harlow Town are pleased to announce the signing of Lauran Luke, who can play in defence or midfield.

He most recently played for Barking, but also counts Haringey Borough and AFC Hornchurch amongst his former clubs, including featuring for the latter when they played Harlow Town in the 2016 Playoff Final.

Harlow extend a warm welcome to him as he joins the Club.

Goalkeeper Tom Middlehurst, who has been with the Hawks on loan from QPR since the start of the season, has now departed and will return to his parent Club. Middlehurst made 23 appearances during the first half of the season, keeping five clean sheets in the process.

Defender Ergis Shala, another loanee from Southend United, has also left the Club. Shala has struggled with injury during his time found himself limited to just four appearances.

Harlow would like to thank both departing players for their contributions during their time with the Club, and we wish them both all the best for their future careers.
